Atami Cocos Substrate is a growing medium made mainly from coconut fibre, designed to provide excellent aeration and oxygenation to the roots of plants. The coco fibre has an ideal structure for retaining nutrients and absorbing water efficiently, which benefits plant growth. The substrate is RHP certified, a quality standard for horticultural substrates. Its specifications include an electrical conductivity of 0.8-1.00 mS/cm, a pH of 6.0 and a composition containing coconut fibre, mineral lime and calcium nitrate. Suitable for organic cultivation, but not suitable for automatic irrigation systems due to possible clogging. A dose of 1-2 ml per litre of nutrient solution is recommended during the last 4-6 weeks of flowering.
